A classic designed silk scarf by Aquascutum of navy blue & olive brown chequered squares on an ivory background. The red border boasts a hand rolled hem with the printed Aquascutum Signature included on the scarf. 

The Designer

Established in 1851 Aquascutum began its story creating high quality menswear with its famous waterproof fabric used in attire for soldiers during the Crimean & both world wars. It was in 1900 that the company introduced womenswear with cape & coat designs often popular with aristocrats, political leaders, & actors. Kim Wisner took over the company as chief executive in 2006 with the company continuing to produce their iconic signature clothing range.
