The iconic fashion designer is known for designing for many famous clients such as Audrey Hepburn & is famous for designing her attire in the films Funny Face (1951) & Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961). During his career he also designed for many notables such as Jackie Kennedy, Princess Grace of Monaco & the Duchess of Windsor.
In 1998 he sold his business to Louis Vuitton but continued to design before eventually retiring in 1995 after presenting his final collection.
