How to use the Dental Polisher The Dental Polisher will help you to remove stains & discolouration on the front teeth. It will also shine & polish your front teeth, providing you with a dental regime you can use between visits to your dentist. Step 1: Place a dental polisher rubber cap onto the end of the Dental Polisher. Squeeze small amounts of whitening drops into the cap. Apply a small amount over the front teeth if you wish. Step 2: Activate the polisher by pressing the lever on the back of the unit, making light contact with the tooth. To stop the polisher, simply release the pressure of the lever. Step 3: Move over the teeth you wish to polish. Do not press whilst polishing, the rubber cap will stop rotating if too much pressure is applied (this is a safety feature). Re-apply whitening drops into the cap (and teeth) when required. How to use the Tooth Stain Eraser The tooth stain eraser helps remove tough stains on the front teeth such as tea, coffee & tobacco. You will find two types of tips, the orange tip is slightly harder, & the clear tip is softer. Try both to see which you are most comfortable with. Take special care when applying pressure near to the gum line, do not use heavy pressure, as the enamel of the teeth is much weaker here, so you risk exposing the root surfaces. The stain eraser must not be used on the root surface of the teeth. Step 1: Place a tip onto end of stain eraser. If heavy plaque or food particles are present, brush teeth beforehand & use the interdental pik or plaque removal tool. Step 2: Rinse mouth thoroughly with mouth wash. Apply a small amount of the whitening drops to the tip by dipping into the tube. Rub the stained areas of the front teeth with the tip using light to medium pressure. Use short rubbing movements & change direction every few strokes. Step 3: Rinse mouth & repeat if stains are still visible. Re-apply whitening drops when required. How to use the Interdental Pik Tool The interdental pik is used to remove food particles, plaque & tartar build-up from the hard to reach places between your teeth & gums. Step 1: Hold the Pik as you would hold a pen. Use the dental mirror to get a clear view of the hard to reach places between your teeth & gums. Step 2: Use the hook to pick out any plaque, tartar or food particles that may be trapped. Plaque Removal Tool The plaque removal tool means that you can wipe away the plaque & tartar build-up from the surrounding areas on the surface of the teeth & gums. Step 1: Hold like a pen & use the dental mirror to view the area. Step 2: Use one of the scraping edges to move over the tooth surface with light to medium pressure. Step 3: Remove the plaque & tartar until the surface is smooth & clean. Repeat on all teeth. Only use the plaque removal tool on the enamel part of the teeth, not the gums.
