The 45 tonnes Kliment Voroshilov (KV) tanks were a series of Soviet heavy tanks known for their extremely heavy armour protection, which was capable of resisting all German anti-tank weapons up to 75 mm & 88 mm caliber, both of which were comparatively rare at the time of the initial German invasion of the Soviet Union in World War II. It was equipped with a 76.2 mm model F-34 gun & four DT machine guns. The KV outweighed most other tanks of the era, being about twice as heavy as the heaviest contemporary German tanks. The KV's strengths included armor that was impenetrable by any tank-mounted weapon then in service except at point-blank range, good firepower, & good traction on soft ground. The turret is also fully controllable & can be rotated as well as moving the gun up & down. The tank has working suspension for climbing over objects & up hills.
