In 1986 British Rail introduced the dramatically different Executive livery onto their high speed Inter City services bringing a totally fresh look to the whole of the High Speed Train fleet & service. During the early days of this livery it was quite common to see the trains made up of coaches in both in the new Executive livery & the older BR blue. Note that these units are only suitable for operation on second radius curved track or greater.
