The Wilesco Steam Locomobile was used around the turn of the century by farmers for threshing & plowing. It was horse drawn but was also frequently self propelled & was capable of moving under its own steam at speeds of 1.5 to 2.5 miles per hour. This sophisticated steam model has a wealth of technical details & it looks good too in its livery of black combined with brass.
Details: Brass boiler has a diameter of 2.2", length 9.1". This engine has a partitioned smoke chamber at the front for the condensation & to allow the smoke to escape through the chimney, which is hinged in the middle. The sight glass acts as a water gauge.
