Wilesco Showman's Engine Kit (D 419) The Wilesco D419 Showmans Engine Kit is a fully working live steam engine from the range of Wilesco Hobby Technique. This technically perfect model D419 has been painted in matching colors. This build it yourself kit is a new release for 2008 & offers the steam enthusiast the opportunity to build this classic Showmans Engine for themself. A chemically black painted brass boiler which has a diameter of 1.8", length 7.3", boiler volume 14 in, with a water gauge glass. Powerful, double action reversible cylinder. Flywheel with a diameter of 3.2". The showman's engine can be run in forward or reverse depending on the movement of the flywheel. Spring loaded safety valve, steam regulator, steam whistle, steam jet oiler & footbridge, traditional chain steering.
