Crompton Spinning Wheel DB1161

An original Saxony type loom with a steam bent wheel rim. The wheel therefore does not involve a large turning - just 12 perfect copy spindles! The whole wheel can be made on quite a small lathe. Hardwood is used throughout and the original was dark coloured.
