Tamiya 1:20th scale Braun Tyrrell Hondo 020 Model F1 Kit (20029) Tamiyas Braun Tyrrell Honda 020 is a plastic model kit in the Tamiya 1:20th F1 Car Plastic Model Kits range. During the 1990 Grand Prix season, the Tyrrell racing team introduced a very distinctive anhedral shaped front wing, which immediately became popular with other F1 car builders. The team enhanced & continued to use this highly effective design on their type 020 racer. This wing, when combined with the raised front nose cone, allows more air to flow under the chassis, producing a stronger downforce. The sleek & low body shell was aerodynamically sculptured to provide more performance at the track. This excellent chassis is magnificently mated to Hondas potent, normally aspirated, 3498cc, V-10 cylinder, type RA101E powerplant, & the transmission gear casing is transversely mounted in front of the rear axle. The front suspension system uses a double wishbone push-rod type damped by a single-shock unit, while the rear end uses a conventional push-rod damped by a single-shock unit, while the rear end uses a conventional push-rod with horizontally mounted dual shocks. This reliable suspension system is fitted with newly developed Pirelli slick racing tires on all four wheels. Paint & Glue not included
