Wood Pack to complete model (stock sheet & strip) For B-17. Designed by: Tony Nijhuis Model type: Electric W.W.11 bomber Fully built up construction using balsa & plywood. The fuselage is built over the plan using formers & stringers & rolled balsa sheeted finish. The wings are a built-up structure of ribs over a main spar & balsa sheeted. The tailplane built up in a similar fashion to the wings. Originally designed for four 400-6V geared motors & 16-cells but we now recommend a brushless setup with lithium polymer batteries for the best fl ight performance & duration. The model is designed for retractable undercarriage. If you have always wanted to build a B-17 but have never quite found one in a practical ' Sunday Morning' size, we're pleased to tell you the wait is over! Tony is rightly pleased with this little beauty. She handles like an aileron trainer. Get her in the air & trust us, you'll want to fly her like a big, heavy bomber. Slow, graceful & hugely impressive. Don't be surprised if your people stop what they're doing to watch. After all who wouldn't?
