The fuel capacity of the petrol tank is 3.1 litres enabling work with fewer re-fuelling visits. The Allett Buckingham 30H is a classic cylinder, roller lawn mower. The six, sharp, spiral blades spinning forwards & cutting blades of grass against a low mounted stationary blade, this makes the cut far more precise, fine & close than the cut that can be achieved by rotary mowers. With two rollers, not just one, an incredibly fine & even cut & strong, long-lasting pronounced lawn stripes are created to enhance ornamental lawns, parks & gardens. The twin rollers on the Allett Buckingham 30H Petrol Cylinder Lawn Mower work in combination to achieve this. The action is simple but very effective. The front roller is zinc-plated steel, with bearings for a smooth run. It keeps the lawnmower even & level & lines up the grass for the cylinder. Then a depth-adjustable rake removes thatch, moss & lifts any grasses that have become horizontal, the cylinder then carries out it’s trademark close, scissor-like cut & the rear roller, flattens the short, tidy grass. The rear-roller is triple-section, with a bonded rubber covering & gears for better torque & even rotation as well as traction grips to avoid slipping. The cutting width of the Allett Buckingham 30H is a generous 76cm (30”) at 73 cuts per metre, & the cutting height of the lawn mower is adjustable, for total versatility with a range of heights between 5mm & 35mm. The grassbox is impact & water resistant & is very lightweight but has an impressive grass clippings capacity of 118 litres, so far less time is spent emptying & the box is easy to remove & attach. Large lawns require time to cut & operator comfort & welfare is therefore a major consideration. With the Allett Buckingham 30H petrol Lawn Mower, not only is control of the machine easy, with within-reach handlebar mounted controls, a bale bar, throttle lever & handbrake, but the handlebars themselves are height adjustable, enabling the operator to work at the right height & reducing the potential for back strain. Added to this there is an optional trailing seat (available separately), which attaches to the rear of the mower. This cleverly designed accessory, thanks to the innovative Autosteer system, follows the mower precisely, so each turn & movement is accurately mirrored when turning corners, negotiating borders or paths.
