The Lawnflite LS65P Petrol Log Splitter is equipped with a powerful & extremely reliable 6.5 hp Briggs & Stratton engine which is easy to start & quiet running. It exerts & incredible 7 tonnes of force – enough to split open just about any type or piece of wood you might need to deal with, whether hard or soft, close grain, knotted etc. The vertical type design on the Lawnflite LS65P makes it suitable for splitting logs of varying sizes. This model is for heavy-duty domestic requirements & will handle large quantities of logs up to 104 cm in length & a recommended maximum of 32 cm in diameter quickly & efficiently. The Lawnflite LS65P petrol log splitter features an adjustable base plate that can be set to one of three positions depending on the size of the logs being split. In position 1 smaller-sized logs up to a maximum length of 52 cm (20.5”) can be split; in position 2 medium-sized logs up to 78 cm (30.7”); & in position 3 larger-sized logs up to 104 cm (40.9”) in length can be dealt with. By adjusting the base plate (to suit the log size) the work rate of the log splitter is increased & you save on energy as the hydraulic ram has less distance to travel when in positions 1 & 2. This petrol log splitter comes with both transport wheels & a handle making it easy to manoeuvre from its place of storage to the area where you are working as well as between sites.
