Four-stroke power-units have traditionally been too heavy for brushcutter use, so Honda have come-up with the fantastic new GX35 mini four-stroke engine. Rated at an impressive 1.6hp (35.8cc), this revolutionary engine has many advantages over its two-stroke competitors, such as lower fuel-costs, less noise, fewer harmful emissions & enhanced dependability. & of course, the need to prepare a fuel/oil mixture is eliminated. The incorporation of the GX35 engine means that the Honda UMK435-UE 4-Stroke Brushcutter weighs-in at a mere 6.62kg, incredibly lightweight for such a powerful machine. Its lightweight design combines with low levels of vibration, a professional-grade 'bike'-type handle & a comfort-harness to ensure very large scale, time-consuming applications won't prove a problem. The Honda UMK435-UE comes as standard with a nylon-spool head & a three-tooth metal blade. With the line-head fitted, you'll be able trim lawn edges, & mow those awkward patches you can't access with your lawn mower; while the metal blade will enable you to scythe effortlessly through brush, bramble & small saplings.
