It has a newly redesigned large-aperture hopper, which ensures debris & branches are fed directly into the cutting mechanism for fast, efficient shredding with no ‘kick-back’ or clogging. A central-locking system provides fast access to the blades for cleaning purposes. The Al-Ko Power Slider 2500R Electric Garden Shredder sits on a robust tubular-steel undercarriage with two large wheels, so it’s stable in operation & easy to shift from place to place. It’s built using modern rust-resistant materials, so a lengthy product-life is assured; & it’s fitted with a rubber safety-device that ensures shredded debris cannot be ejected via the hopper-chute. The mulch produced by this low-noise model is the perfect consistency for rapid composting, & can be used to protect the bases of delicate shrubs during the colder months. It weighs just 22kg & is supplied with an expansive six-metre power-lead.
