Flying Lanterns are traditionally known as " Khom Fay" or " Khom Loy" in China & have been used for nearly two thousand years. It was believed that wishes written on lanterns would rise up to the heavens & come true. So, what are they & how do they work? Basically theyre paper lanterns made from flame-retardant, 100% bio-degradable materials & are wire free. All you do is light the wick suspended beneath & in about 45-60 seconds the lantern will be filled with hot air; then all you do is watch them soar. Stand by for an amazing visual display! They are safe to use, however with anything involving a naked flame caution must be exercised at all times & therefore its advisable to follow instructions on the pack very carefully.
