FX-179 Selfie Drone

There’s no getting away from it, selfies are here to stay. Open up any social media app and there’s all your friends, families and celebrities with outstretched arms or extended selfie-sticks trying to get the perfect shot! Luckily there’s a nifty piece of tech that will help us get one up over everyone else, with minimal fuss, and it comes in the shape of the FX-179 drone! Any good photo needs the
camera to be steadied: the optical flow positioning is the FX-179’s way of doing that, letting you set a particular position for the drone, which will then stick to it perfectly. In layman’s terms the drone takes a snapshot of the ground underneath it so it has a reference point of where to go back to in case it starts to drift and gives it a much more stable hover than drones without this feature. Facial and Target Tracking: as the name suggests facial tracking allows the drone to recognise an individual’s facial features and track them, meaning that if it has your face in its system, it can follow you to make sure you’re always in sight. Target tracking allows you to lock onto anything and have the drone either hover, follow or orbit it. Great for creating visually dynamic
videos and getting awesome panoramic moments. Headless mode: This feature is always welcome in a drone, and basically lets you move the drone left and right relative to you, rather than relative to the drone, meaning that you’ll never get confused about which way it’s facing (which is super-useful if you are new to flying drones!). As you can tell there’s enough fancy features above that mean the FX-179 drone can pretty much fly itself however if you do want to take the helm you can do so thanks to the free phone/tablet app (available on both Play Store and App Store) and the touch screen controls.
