Sailmakers Cottage Appledore Reflecting Appledore's rich maritime history, Sailmakers Cottage is an ancient 17th Century property transformed into a modest yet comfortable family holiday home. Tucked away on a narrow & winding lane & accessible only by foot, the property is just a short walk from the centre of the village with its shops, cafes & picturesque quayside. Decorated in a traditional style, the cosy lounge has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings & the kitchen leads out to a small courtyard with a private terraced garden. Accommodation Ground floor: Living room with woodburner, TV & DVD. Separate dining area. Kitchen with electric cooker & spin dryer. Bathroom with electric shower, WC & basin. First floor: Bed 1 with Double & en-suite WC & basin. Bed 2 with Twin. Bed 3 with Single. Facilities & Services NS heaters. Logs available locally. Stairgate available. Telephone for incoming calls. Cob walls may make the property unsuitable for asthmatics. 13 steps up to a level lawn & walled garden with a garden seat & more steep steps to another lawned area with garden furniture. Off road private parking for 1 car outside owner's garage 60 yards away (luggage trolley provided). Ref: N1600
