This cable is specifically designed to cater for 2-pole connectors which cannot accomodate Van Damme Instrument cable with a diameter of 6mm or more.This cable is typically used with phono mono jack or mono mini jack connectors which have a back shell entry of no more than 4.8mm. It is usually terminated in the form of short unbalanced patch cables commonly found in home studios.Construction is of a plain non tinned single OFC conductor with foamed polyethylene insulation and tubed thermoplastic conductive carbon inner screen. The outer screen consists of close lap spiral OFC. The overall sheath is a special soft matt PVC composite for reduced reflection excellent flexibility and anti-kink characteristics even at low temperatures.
