The System Hub means that you can feed up to four displays each of which can be up to 1 mile 1600m away. It is ideal for distribution systems where high quality video & audio are required but where either the distances are too great for SCART distribution systems or a less bulky cable is required. These could include large homes pubs clubs stadia stations airports display stands shop window displays. The Milestone System Hub has the ability to relay IR remote control signals from the Slave unit to the Master it behaves completely transparently. The unit is extremely compact & lightweight & can be powered locally or via the CAT5 cable through its input or output ports. It can power up to four Slaves directly & can backfeed a Master if necessary. The Milestone System Hub requires very little power allowing both the System Hub & four Slaves to be remotely powered from a Master if necessary. It has the intelligence to shut down to power-save mode when no signal is present it will switch on automatically as soon as it receives a signal at its input.
