The dichroic reflector has the advantage that it radiates the majority of the heat in the opposite direction to the light beam meaning that little infra-red is radiated forward. Dichroic lamps also have high light output a 50W lamp has the same light intensity as a 150W PAR lamp longer life & superior colour rendition when compared to standard PAR lamps. These bulbs have a sealed glass front for safety. Average life Approx. 2000 hours.
