Ideally sized for a small rotator not supplied for maximizing signal strength or minimising interference. Can be assembled as a traditional flat trapped dipole with an overall span of 10.4m or as a more compact Vee form with a span of 7.4m. In Vee configuration the radiation pattern contains a significant amount of vertical component to complement the horizontal transmission. Although it benefits from being mounted as high as possible the H-422 can be mounted as low as 3m 10 feet above ground & still achieve reasonable performance.
