As well as automatically switching on at dusk & off at dawn the unit can be set to switch the light off at 369 or 12 hours after coming on at dusk. Alternatively the unit can be set to turn the light on or off at random times in between the dusk & dawn periods. In this setting the random on & off times are different each & every night. As well as being suitable for standard BC bulbs of between 40W & 100W the unit also accepts electronic energy-saving bulbs of between 9W & 20W. Not suitable for enclosed fittings such as a flush ceiling luminaire. Do not use with fluorescent strip lighting halogen lights flicker style candlelight bulbs or in conjunction with a dimmer switch.
