The device will alert you visually via a bright LED text display & audibly with a voice alert so that you do not even have to take your eyes from the road Both alert patterns will indicate the type of location you are approaching as well as the Speed Limit on that stretch of road. The LED display will also count down your distance to the trap from 1000-50m. The voice alert can be switched to a loud piezo bleeper if preferred. An optional ear-piece is also available designed to transfer the audible alert directly to the inside of your helmet for motorcycle use. System Requirements To add the Snooper S4 download Software to your PC you will need a PC with Windows Please Note The standard Snooper S4 cannot be used on vehicles with heat reflective or comfort windscreens such as newer model Renaults citreons & some Peugeots although it is effective on vehicles with a Heated windscreen. If you are unsure what type of windscreen your vehicle hasplease contact your local dealer or telephone our Technical Helpline on 0870 787 0700. If your vehicledoes have this type of windscreen you will need to purchase an additional extension re-radiating antenna to enable your S4 to operate correctly. The geographical co-ordinates of all fixed speed monitoring systems & many officially designated accident hotspots have been stored on adatabase that is constantly monitored & up-dated by our data collection team ensuring that you are alerted to every potentially hazardous stretch of road or danger spot. Simply connect the S4 to a compatible PC & this concise database can be downloaded in a matter of minutes To ensure that your S4 is always effective downloads can be performed as often as the user prefers. An optional external modem can also be purchased for users without access to a PC so that the database can be downloaded from any compatible telephone socket. The Snooper S4 then compares your position using its built-in GPS antenna with the position of every known fixed speed monitoring system & accident hotspot alerting you both audibly & visually via a speaker & its LCD text display ensuring your highest concentration at all times.
