The AD converters are optimised for measuring low-level unipolar or bipolar signals in weigh scale process control scientific & medical applications. To accommodate these applications the AD converters come as 2-channel CS5532 device & include a very low noise chopper-stabilised instrumentation amplifier 6 n Vv Hz at 0.1 Hz with selectable gains of 1x 2x 4x 8x 16x 32x & 64x. These AD converters also include a fourth-order Delta-Sigma modulator followed by a digital filter which provides 20 selectable output word rates of 6.25 7.5 12.5 15 25 30 50 60 100 120 200 240 400 480 800 960 1600 1920 3200 & 3840 samples per second SPS MCLK 4.9152 MHz.BPlease note B The clock generation circuitry the on-chip oscillator & the comparator that follow it may fail to generate a reliable clock for the convertor under some bipolar power supply conditions. To ensure proper operation when using the on-chip gate oscillator with the convertor powered from bipolar power supplies the following restriction is to be followed VD must be more positive than 3.2V & VA- cannot be more negative than -3.3-0.3 or -3.0V. For example If VD 3.3V then VA- cannot be more negative than -3.3-0.3 or -3.0V. If the convertor is operated from a bipolar supply of VA VD 3.3V & VA- -3.3 Vor VA VD 3.0V & VA- -3.0 Vthe convertor should be driven from an external clock source.
