- Simple plug n play operation Some HD setups have lengthy HDMI cable runs which can lead to a reduction in picture quality as even HDMI v 1.3 cables can only run for about 10 metres before the effects of signal degradation kick in. These effects can take the form of pixelisation or even a loss of picture. The Pair amp Go HDMI Extender is 1080p HDMI v 1.3 & HDCP v 1.2 complaint. It automatically adjusts & compensates for the HD signal degradation & cable attenuation up to 40d B & the input signal is amplified & sent through output buffers without any loss in quality for cable lengths up to 40m. Please note that to achieve cable runs of 40 metres a good quality cable must be used. Maplin recomends the Nikkai Pure Connectivity range of HDMI leads.
