This handy portable
device has two thin-film
solar cells. Just open it
up in the sun and wait
until the charge
indicator signals that
the batteries have been
fully charged. Once
charged you can either
take them out of the
enclosure and use them in
your portable device or
you can just connect your
device and power it that
way. Alternatively you
can connect the charger
to any USB port to charge
the batteries.
Unfortunately this device
is not compatible with
iPods unless you have a
conversion power cord
from universal power
adaptor to iPod adaptor -
not included. Other
devices will also require
the USB charging cable
supplied with the device
not included.The charger
also has the capacity to
test batteries. Both
rechargeable and
non-rechargeable
batteries can be tested.
If you have tested
non-rechargeable
batteries please remember
to remove these prior to
using the device as
charging a
non-rechargeable battery
can cause the battery to
leak which can cause
personal injury and also
damage the charger.
