Overlooking nothing but rolling countryside this is a rural idyll that is utterly perfect for the authentic Cotswolds experience. The building, which is over 300 years old & was once three small farm workers homes until the mid 20th Century when it was converted into one home. Today it is a very cosy, welcoming bolt hole packed with traditional features. Flagstone floors, a wood burning stove, lead & mullion windows, beams & wonky floors give this a truly unique 'shabby-chic' appeal. The country kitchen is well equipped while the living room is unquestionably the heart of the home. This is what the Cotswolds is all about!ACCOMMODATIONMain Entrance through to kitchen. The Kitchen is well equipped with electric hob, oven & grill, washing machine, fridge, freezer & dishwasher. There is ample preparation space, & dining room / area is through the arch opening Dining Room with large dining table & six chairs, a good size & overlooking gardens. Living Room with two good size sofas & an armchair, large flatscreen TV with basic sky package, plus wood burning stove. Upstairs
- all the rooms have stunning views. Bedroom One with standard double bed, (4ft 6in), chest of drawers & wardrobe. Bathroom with bath, shower over (super power), WC & washbasin Bedroom Two, an especially large room, with large double bed (6ft) which can be separated into two single beds, plus chest of drawers, flatscreen TV with basic sky package. Bedroom Three (accessed via Bedroom Two) with two single beds & wardrobe. Outside There is a large, enclosed garden that surrounds most of the cottage, mainly grassed but perfect for sitting out, playing in or simply enjoying the peace & views. It overlooks the countryside & although there is one neighbour about 70 yards away, you really are totally secluded. There is a little lane at the top of the driveway which is very peaceful & leads to the village of Hazleton. There is a table & six chairs.

Hooky Cottage is a gorgeous thatched cottage situated close to the centre of this lovely village, itself located in the northern part of the Cotswolds. The cottage has a long history & has a wealth of period features that give it real character. Naturally the thatch is very appealing (and rare!), but the beams, wood burning stove and Cotswold stone walls give the cottage a real homely, cosy feel that sets it apart from many others. The cottage is ideal for two, but can easily accommodate an extra person as there is a second bedroom. The owners have undertaken some recent updates & these give it a welcoming feel, mixing 'period' & 'modern' in a tasteful way. There is a small patio area to the rear along with a separate south facing garden area. With some great pubs moments away and proximity to superb walks on your doorstep, this is an ideal 'rural retreat' for a couple or couple with a young child.
