Wagtail Cottage is delightful, romantic cottage set in a quiet village Approx. 6 miles from Woodstock & Oxford
- the city famous for its University colleges & museums. The village has an amazing history with Edward The Confessor reputedly born here around 1005AD & is commemorated in the Confessor Chapel in the village! It also has a deep history around the time of the Civil War
- so plenty to keep you busy! The cottage itself is very sweet & cosy; it is located down a very quiet, no-through lane an ideal bolt hole to relax within or from which to tour the region. There is immediate access from the back gate to a wonderful network of footpaths, which take you first past a lavender field & then down to a river. There is also a great local shop, & some great pubs nearby. The living area is delightful, as is the south facing garden to the rear. A lovely cottage, in a great & unique location. ACCOMMODATIONEntrance from the lane to living space. Living Room with wood burning stove, large sofa, chaise longue, TV with Freeview & DVD player. There is ample hanging space for coats etc. This room leads to the dining area of the kitchen Kitchen is well equipped with view towards the garden, with electric hob, oven & grill, dishwasher, microwave, fridge & separate freezer. There is a washing machine in a cupboard under the stairs. The dining table which is quite large is between the living room & kitchen. Doors to the garden Upstairs Bedroom with king size bed (5ft) with wardrobe area also. Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC & washbasin. Outside There is a south facing garden with table & chairs. The garden is enclosed & therefore suitable for a pet. Excellent bus links to Oxford (you do not necessarily need a car). Heating & Electrcity included. Sorry
