Overlooking a field with stream & a small country lane, this is a tranquil holiday cottage ideal for recharging the batteries & enjoying some beautiful Cotswolds countryside. Originally a chapel, the building has been converted to provide a spacious & thoroughly welcoming living space. Now owned by an artist's family, there are many paintings & period touches throughout, while there are also many modern conveniences to make your stay an enjoyable one. We particularly like the open plan style of this cottage as it really gives the sense of space.ACCOMMODATIONEntrance is up 7 steps across a small raised terrace into the open-plan living area. Kitchen small, galley style, fully kitted with electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge & washer/dryer, with table & chairs. Living Area with TV with DVD player, table & side lights. Glazed doors (which fully open) to private terraced garden area with table & chairs. It is possible to sit here & see through the cottage to the fields on the other side. Bathroom with bath, hand held shower, WC & washbasin Spiral staircase to Upstairs Large Bedroom, vaulted ceiling & large windows make an impressive space. Large double bed & clothes hanging space. Outside There is a small terrace/courtyard to the rear of the property with table & chairs & a small terrace to the front. The doors to the Chapel look out towards the duck populated stream & valley, with the village lane directly in front. The cottage is Approx. 1.5 miles from The Swan Inn which is a popular pub serving good food. Otherwise there are superb walks directly from the front door. Please No Pets. Babies accepted, but no cot & high chair supplied. No Smokers. Wifi available but limited mobile phone signal at this property. Off street parking. Heating & Electricity included all year round.
