Granary Cottage, is a quaint cottage set in the heart of the Northern Cotswolds. Located in the grounds of the owner's historic home on the edge of a traditional village families, walkers or those who simply fancy going absolutely no-where will be equally delighted with this bolt hole. Flanked to the side by a small paddock/orchard which is often the home to small flock of friendly sheep, guests are invited to roam freely while they relax, including the use of the games room with pool table. Situated a convenient distance from Chipping Campden & Moreton in Marsh both bustling & full of charm and well worth a visit, plus just 20 mins drive from Shakespeare's Stratford upon Avon (a cultural treasure trove) you are spoilt for places to pop & see. Inside the cottage is presented immaculately with the living areas particularly appealing. The owners have done very well to retain much of the period nature of the building while adding a wealth of convenient modern touches throughout. In our opinion, this is a very Cotswold holiday experience & well worth a visit.ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to hallway with boot storage & hanging space with cloakroom Kitchen is a contemporary & a good size. Fully equipped & including granite work surfaces, with electric hob & oven, microwave, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge & separate freezer plus a table & chairs. Living/ Dining Room with sofa & two armchairs, good size TV, DVD player, cd player with docking station for ipod etc, French doors leading to patio garden area Dining Area with table & four chairs Cloakroom with WC & washbasin Upstairs Bedroom One with double bed, chest of drawers, large wardrobe and Ensuite Bathroom with shower & WCBedroom Two with two 2'6" beds which can be 'zip&linked' together to make a double bed if desired, please do advise at the point of booking. This bedroom is compact. Please note that the bathroom is accessed via a few steps into bedroom one, alternatively the cloakroom downstairs. Outside To the rear of the cottage is a private, west facing patio with table & chairs. There is also a paddock, with lovely apple & pear trees, which has pedigree Cotswold sheep within it. in addition guests are free to use the games room above the garage which has an American pool table, table football plus WC. The complete gardens are enclosed & safe for children & at the far end of the paddock is a safe copse ideal for building dens! Saturday Changeover preferred please. Pets by arrangement.
