Set on the edge of this beautiful village, Elmes Barn (prounces 'elms') is a wonderful detached Cotswold country bolt hole that provides generous self catering accommodation, in a location that offers much more than meets the eye! For starters there is a highly recommended pub about 5 minutes walk down the lane & countless walks in every direction to build an appetite, while Royal Tetbury with all its treasure trove antique shops & gorgeous shops is only 5 mins drive away. The 'royal' bit is more to do with the fact that Prince Charles lives about a mile away! Add to these the many gorgeous villages just like Leighterton that pepper the area & you have plenty to help you soak up that Cotswolds' experience. Inside the barn is furnished simply but comfortably, with an open plan living area, well equipped kitchen - all very bright & airy with large windows looking towards the fields. The two bedrooms are similarly large & bright (even when we came & inspected on a miserable January day!) making this very much a clean cut, retreat that will be utterly gorgeous in the summer months & sunshine.
