Colerne Cottage is a stunning cottage set in one of our favourite villages near to Bath. Set overlooking a classic & stunning English countryside view, the cottage, which is historic & historically significant provides superb accommodation for five people, with all mod cons included. Internally, the owner has created a fabulous mix of contemporary & character features to provide thoroughly welcoming & comfortable accommodation. To the rear of the property is a large, enclosed garden that the owner takes great care to prepare & tend for guests' enjoyment, all of which frame the stunning views. The village of Colerne is simply beautiful & largely untouched. It has two pubs & a few of little shops & fabulous walks in all directions. In addition the popular city of Bath is just 15 mins away. A delightful cottage for a Bath & Cotswold vacation!! ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to living room Living Room with original stone fireplace with wood burning stove/fire, plus sofa & chairs TV & DVD player. Dining table with six chairs. Kitchen with newly fitted beech units & work surfaces, large double porcelain sink, cooker with gas hob, fridge, freezer & dishwasher and microwave Access the Cloakroom/ Utility Room through the door from kitchen with WC and washbasin, plus washing machine. First Floor: Bedroom One with double bed, double aspect windows & feature Georgian fireplace. Family Bathroom with contemporary suite including shower over standard size bath & radiator towel warmer. Second Floor Bedroom Two with double bed with 3 windows one of which overlooks the beautiful Grade 1 listed St John the Baptist Church. Bedroom Three with single bed & fabulous views over the Bybrook valley towards the villages of Box & Ashley. Outside: South facing stone walled garden with large stone patio & wooden table & chairs. Lower end of garden with garden seat & space for children's garden games. The landscaped garden at the cottage is a delightful asset. Designed by a horticulturist new plants appear in abundance from early spring through to late summer. Visit in May/early June to see the two well established wisterias in flower. Private parking: for up to 4 cars. Sorry No Pets or smokers. Children Welcome. Cot & High Chair available. Off street parking. Friday changeover in July & August. Full week bookings please. Short Breaks available all year. A Security Deposit of £100 is required by the owner before your stay. Please note that Bath Xmas Fair (1st two weeks of December) are priced at mid season
