Product Description

The Fontanafredda estate is owned & run by a bank, the Monte dei Paschi di Siena. Whilst owning 70 hectares of l&, surplus grapes are ordered in from local growers. The producer makes many wines in Tuscany & Piedmont, with this Barolo one of their best. This is a robust, full bodied wine packed with structure & fully capable of standing the test of time. The bouquet is clean & intense, with typical Barolo characteristics of wild roses & tar. Due to the full-bodied nature of Barolo, full-flavoured dishes such as Bolognese & spicy meatballs are required.
