Séguinot-Bordet is a 16-hectare domaine specialising entirely in Chablis. This Grand Cru Vaudesir wine is the pinnacle of their range, & comes from vines of 40-65 years old grown on a south-south-east-facing plot of Kimmeridgian clay, said to lend the wine its iodine-like character. A rich, firmly structured wine, offering immense complexity & length, which rewards careful cellaring, typically reaching optimum maturity 3-5 years from bottling.
