The terroir at Chteau Potensac has the familiar alluvial gravel of the left bank with some red clay. The vines cover about 53 hectares, located between St-Yzans & St-Germain-d Esteuil. It boasts a terrific fruit intensity & purity, as well as moderate tannin in the medium-bodied, impressively rich finish. This wine should drink well between 2002-2014. Robert Parker.
