Product Description

From old vines on the border of the Brouilly cru, this is a Beaujolais-Villages wine with the depth & complexity of a top cru wine. The Chteau itself dates back to 1535, with grapes now used to make wines on the estate instead of being sold to negociants. Fresh strawberry aromas & pleasant earthy notes, light tannins & rounded finish give a superior finish than its AC suggests. Can be served slightly chilled but deserves respect due to the soft aromas & lashings of fresh fruit. superb with cured meat.
