Shuffleboard is a game of skill, sharing roots with Shove Halfpenny. A popular pub game, it involved sliding discs, also known as 'groats' after the old English coin originally used, down a board in an attempt to place the disc in the scoring zone
- known as 'placing the biscuit'. The board is 4ft in length & has English woollen baize feet to protect the surface upon which it is placed.
