Product Description

This traditional stone-built fisherman's cottage is over 150 years old & it stands on the main street in the same terrace as the Robinson Crusoe statue, just a short walk from the lovely sandy beach at Largo Bay. The picturesque little fishing villages scattered along the East Neuk offer wonderful opportunities for sailing, fishing & taking time to appreciate regional crafts & museums of local interest. The area is also popular for hill walking/climbing & for golfers, there are endless local courses to choose from. An ideal base for touring & day trips with easy access to St Andrews, Perth, Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow. This terraced cottage is on 3 levels. The main rooms are well-proportioned, bright & sunny & the cottage is attractively furnished. To the rear there is a small elevated enclosed garden for sitting out but not really suitable as a childrens play area. Secure storage for sports equipment, cycles, etc. Shops, pubs & hotels in village 1/4 mile. Ground floor
- very comfortable large lounge / dining room, contemporary, compact kitchen with pantry, bathroom with over bath shower. First floor
- lovely master bedroom with king-size bed & en-suite shower-room, 1 bedroom with adult size bunk beds. Upper floor
- pleasant sunny double bedroom with coombed ceiling & en suite wc/whb. (accessed by steep narrow stair) Cooking by electricity, gas central heating. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, auto washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, Freeview television, DVD, CD/hi-fi. Cot & high chair available. Bed linen & towels can be hired by arrangement.
