Recently reconstructed, the 'bothy' is above a former cowshed & is accessed by 9 steep steps from the farmyard overlooked by llamas & other farm animals. - a popular spot with mountaineers & hill-walkers. The surrounding area of Appin boasts many outdoor pursuits including sea trout & salmon fishing (arranged locally), golf, cycling, varied sea life & bird-watching. Take your bikes across on the ferry from Port Appin to explore the Isle of Lismore. The main tourist resort of Oban has excellent amenities & day cruises to the isles. There are two hotels nearby & a shop/post office at Duror 1.5 miles. 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower attachment), open plan sitting / dining room / kitchen. All electric. Fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, television. Bed linen & towels are provided.
