The Sherpa SPB-500 Motorised Power Barrow is a high quality, self propelled, cordless, electric wheel barrow that has been designed to be used in the garden, yard, farm, stables or building site. The HUGE 170L capacity powder coated steel tray is mounted on a pivot system that means it can be easily tipped, even with a heavy load. Originally designed to be extra easy to use, it has a variable speed lever that controls the drive speed & a brake lever that controls the disc brake that is attached to the front wheel. To provide added traction, stability & braking power the front wheel has a chevron tread tyre (in the style of a tractor or similar vehicle) that helps manoeuvre the power barrow over a number of different surfaces & obstacles. The rear castor wheels have the handy capability of turning 360 degrees to allow the barrow to be turned on the spot, which is extra useful in tight spaces. The frame of the barrow is constructed from heavy duty tubular steel that keeps the barrow strong & robust while remaining lightweight. The wheels of this powered barrow use a race bearing & the drive motor automatically disconnects if pushed. This means you can use the power barrow as a normal barrow too! Rechargeable Battery The 24v heavy duty battery pack is easily removed for simple charging & sits securely beneath the tray. It has enough juice to complete an average day's work. Variable Speed Control Once switched on, just pull the lever to drive the Power Barrow. Fitted with variable speed control, simply pull the lever gently for a slow speed or fully for maximum momentum & drive power. Chevron Tread Tyre The front tyre features a chevron tractor style tread for optimum traction on rough & uneven surfaces & helps the Power Barrow to maintain drive even in more demanding environments. Powerful Disc Brake To keep the barrow under control you can use the disc brake to slow the barrow & control its decent on a hill. It can also be locked on the handles to hold the barrow's position. Castor Rear Wheels The rear wheels of Power Barrow are fitted on castors which allow full 360 degrees independent movement for easy manoeuvrability & on-the-spot turning without having to lift it like a traditional wheelbarrow.
