This lathes electronics & inverter are securely housed in a dust proof metal enclosure that is certified to IP55 standard giving greater protection to essential control circuits. There is a 3 phase motor & inverter to provide enough power for a multitude of jobs. The machines headstock is cast from steel for added strength & there is a phosphor bronze bearing that ensures a long machine life. Heavy duty tailstock within a cast iron construction gives stability & support to the workpiece. It is hollow to enable easy ejection of centres & allow for long hole boring & also features easy to use cam locks. The variable speed control unit provides simple, responsive & smooth speed change at the turn of a dial. This unit is assembled in the UK using components from a high quality German supplier.
