- This air purifier provides cleaner air in rooms up to 24m 2. Especially beneficial in the home for allergy sufferers & asthmatics. It also reduces or eliminates tobacco smoke. A 5 stage filtering system cleanses the air of many undesirable contaminants: Stage 1. A pre-filter removes large particles such as those from human & pet hair Stage 2. A multifunction antibacterial filter removes pollen, bacterial & fungal spores Stage 3. A high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter removes dust & cigarette smoke it also has an additional anti-mould & anti-bacterial function. Stage 4. Activated carbon filter adsorbs volatile chemicals on a molecular basis reducing unpleasant odours & harmful gases Stage 5. An ionisation filter generates electrically charged air or gas ions. These ions attach to airborne particles which are then electrostatically attracted to a charged collector plate removing them from the breathed air in the room.
