Long 30 metre rangeThe remote control can be used up to 30 metres away from the socket which means you can switch the socket on & off from indoors. It can take a maximum load of 3k W which is sufficient for most appliances.
Manual over-ride switchThe socket also has a manual override. The manual switch is useful when operating electrical & garden tools such as hedge-cutters where safety & supervision is an issue, or where there is a need to keep control of the appliance at all times.
