With a long life of 10, 000 hours you can leave these lights on day & night for a full year & the bulb still won't need to be replaced. These lamps have a 'B' energy rating & combine low wattages with high output. This results in lower electricity costs, typically about 20% of those incurred by using a standard bulb. The high frequency circuit fitted as standard drastically reduces energy consumption. High frequency fluorescent lights are also virtually silent & flicker free, so they create a more pleasant working environment than standard fluorescent lights.
