This great quality extractor fan is one of the few on the market that can be used in the actual splash area of your bath or shower. It removes moisture at source, giving you safe & effective ventilation for domestic & commercial bathrooms. Bathroom ventilation It is essential for a bathroom or shower room to be well ventilated, whether it is in a home or commercial environment. The Manrose low voltage axial fan has a very fast extraction rate of 23 litres of air per second of operation, so it performs a rapid air change & lowers the humidity level of the room quickly & efficiently. Safe operation Building regulations do not allow conventional extractor fans to be put in very close proximity to baths & showers, as they would create an electrical hazard. Designed with a 12V shaded pole motor, this Manrose 4” axial fan is safe for use in the splash area (zone 0) of your bathroom when used with a remote transformer & switching mechanism. Fitting your low voltage fan within the splash area means that you can extract moisture quickly & efficiently, before it has a chance to spread through the room.
Designed to exceed the 2006 Building Regulations on Ventilation (Document F1), this model has been tested to fully comply with EN60 335-2-80:1997 & EN335-1:1994+A1, A11 to A14, giving you complete peace of mind that this fan meets all the relevant safety standards.
IP57 Rating This Manrose extractor fan has a very high ingress protection rating of IP57, meaning it is protected from penetration by dust that would interfere with its operation, & protected against immersion in water. It is made from high impact ABS thermoplastics so it is a very strong, durable design, which is easy to wipe clean. This model is supplied complete with a transformer so there is no need to buy one separately.
Manrose is a British company that was one of the first to introduce practical & common-sense features on fans, with safety & energy saving benefits.
