This flexible, low energy downlight has a range of bezel & diffuser accessories making it ideal for so many applications. Whether you want a standard white finish, drop glass diffuser or an IP rated option for use in a bathrooms or washrooms one fitting does it all. Current buildings regulations state that any residential premises with a top floor height up to 18M above the ground should have ceilings resistant to fire for up to 60 minutes. Residential premises with top floors 18M-30M should have ceilings resistant to fire for up to 90 minutes

Installation of recessed lighting requires cutting into the ceiling area & so can compromise the ceiling fire rating. To maintain a fire rating when recessed lighting is installed the lighting itself must also be fire rated. Fire rated downlights have an integrated protective cover or 'can' that prevents the heat & flames from being transferred through them into the ceiling void

This product is fully fire rated & suitable for use in 30, 60 & 90 minute fire rated ceilings.

This product is compliant with Parts L1 A/B of building regulations & has been tested to BS476 part 21 & BS EN ISO 140-3;1995 / BS EN ISO 140-6;1998 (Acoustics) confirming that it maintains the ability for an internal & separating floor to provide sound insulation

Double insulated lights suitable for use in properties where wiring does not include an earth cable within the lighting circuit.

This light is designed to rely solely on the live & neutral cables & has extra thick, double insulated, coverings around the wires
