Mains:

Choose the mains version for full strength lighting power & maximum brightness that is well worth the small extra outlay. Using popular GU10 Halogen spotlights with this fitting gives you the bright beam of light that you need, with excellent colour rendering. These lamps last on average for 2, 500 hours, so even if you use them for a full 40 hour week, they still last for well over a year.

Low Voltage:

These fittings provide effective general lighting & are easier to install then mains lights. Lyco recommends that you use 50mm low voltage spotlights with this model. Not only do these give you lower lighting costs than using mains powered lighting, they also have a lower heat output, so they are safer to use in areas where people may come into contact with the fitting. Lyco sells low voltage transformers separately for use with low voltage fittings. Whichever model you choose, remember to order your light bulbs from Lyco when you buy your bathroom & shower downlights.
