They have a very long life of up to 22, 000 hours so they last for several years before needing replacement. Metal Halide bulbs are also energy efficient & have far lower running costs than standard light bulbs. They have a long life of up to 15, 000 hours, so even if they are used for as long as 9 hours a day they last for over 4 years. Both bulbs provide very bright, efficient lighting. The Metal Halide version produces daylight quality light with excellent colour rendering & creates a more pleasant working atmosphere, which is perfect for facilities where it is important to see colours accurately or where members of the public may visit. The SON light is more suited to general industrial applications. Durable & easy to install Both models come with 250W lamps included & a hinged gear tray to make installation & maintenance easier.
