Until September 2021 Get ready to explore six large-scale, immersive art installations that showcase the UK's diverse habitats, from moorlands & meadows to coastal cliffs. Created by Vaughn Bell, you'll be able to pop up in spaces like meadows, hedgerows, sand dunes & coastal habitats. After indulging your eyes, give your ears a treat. Stand beneath a sound dome & hear the inner workings of trees created by sound artist Alex Metcalfe, then listen to the melancholic sound of plants captured using technology by composer Jason Singh.
Before you leave, sit back & relax in the seating installation by architectural designer Paul Cocksedge, there's a wave of wooden arches that will let you feel at one with nature. Expect to have your imagination captured & a seed planted in your mind of the incredible biodiversity that surrounds you not just on the British isles, but in your day-to-day environment.
