it is less prone to noise
as the higher twists help
to cancel out noise in
the signal pairs. But it
also means that the pairs
of cables are of
different lengths and the
three video colours,
RGB, each sent down a
pair of cables, will
arrive at different
times. This can cause a
problem called colour
split where the three
colours Red, Green and
Blue appear separately on
the display. Normally the
red is to the left and
the blue to the right.
This can be solved using
this product's skew
compensation function
which will rebalance the
length of pairs and bring
the video colours back in
line.
